Robert Sowell (Robert Donnell Sowell) was born on June 23, 1961 in Columbus, Ohio. After going to high school at Mifflin (Columbus, OH), Sowell attended Howard University. Sowell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1983 with the Miami Dolphins. He played for the Miami Dolphins for his entire 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1987 was Robert Sowell's best year.
