Born on October 6, 1969 in Lowell, Massachusetts, Robert Person (Robert Alan Person) played for the New York Mets, Toronto Blue Jays, Philadelphia Phillies and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 9 year career. Person broke into the bigs on September 18, 1995 with the New York Mets, and put up a 4.52 ERA in 89.2 innings pitched in 1996, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Robert Person's best season was 2001, when he posted a 4.19 ERA, won 15 games and struck out 183 batters.
