Born on May 28, 1918 in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, Bob Malloy (Robert Paul Malloy) played for the Cincinnati Reds and St. Louis Browns over the course of his 5 year career. Malloy broke into the bigs on May 4, 1943 with the Cincinnati Reds, and put up a 2.75 ERA in 72 innings pitched in 1946, his rookie year.
