Robert Lyles (Robert Damon Lyles) was born on March 21, 1961 in Los Angeles, California. After going to high school at Belmont (Los Angeles, CA), Lyles attended Texas Christian University. Lyles made his professional debut in the NFL in 1984 with the Houston Oilers. He played for the Houston Oilers and Atlanta Falcons over the course of his 8 year career.
Most people believe that 1986 was Robert Lyles's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
