Born on December 22, 1923 in Swissvale, Pennsylvania, Bob Hall (Robert Louis Hall) played for the Boston Braves and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 3 year career. Hall broke into the bigs on April 23, 1949 with the Boston Braves, and put up a 4.36 ERA in 74.1 innings pitched in 1949, his rookie year.
