Robert Giblin (Robert James Giblin) was born on November 18, 1952 in Omaha, Nebraska. After going to high school at Groves (Port Neches, TX), Giblin attended the University of Houston. Giblin made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the New York Giants. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals and New York Giants over the course of his 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1977 was Robert Giblin's best year.
