Rob Woods (Alex Robert Woods) was born on October 3, 1965 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. After going to high school at Dos Pueblos (Goleth, CA), Woods attended Eastern Washington University, Santa Barbara City College, the University of Arizona and the University of California at Santa Barbara. Woods made his professional debut in the NFL in 1989 after being drafted in the fourth round by the Cincinnati Bengals. After a knee surgery the Bengals put Rob on IR list. He signed with the Kansas City Chiefs where he broke his arch on his right foot and was placed on the injured reserve list again. He then signed to play for the Cleveland Browns. He has played for the Browns for his last 2 years.
