Rob Goode (Robert Leslie Goode) was born on June 5, 1927 in Roby, Texas. After going to high school at Bastrop (Roby, TX), Goode attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University. Goode made his professional debut in the NFL in 1949 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1951 was Rob Goode's best year, as he ran for 951 yards and ran in 9 TDs.
