[edit] BiographyAcquired: Signed as a free agent on April 30, 2007 with the Calgary Stampeders. Entering his first season with the Calgary Stampeders. College: Victoria Rebels (BCFC) In his two-year tenure with the Rebels, Cote recorded 49 carries for 407 yards, 90 receptions for 1698 yards, 20 touchdowns, one completion for 17 yards, 12 tackles (4 solo) and a fumble recovery. 2006 – (BCFC - Victoria) Cote finished the season with 48 receptions for 845 yards which included 8 touchdowns and rushed the ball 30 times for 185 yards and 5 touchdowns, earning him his second consecutive team MVP award. 2005 – (BCFC - Victoria) In his first season with the Rebels, Cote caught 42 passes for a total of 853 yards and rushed the ball 19 times for 222 yards, all combined for 7 offensive touchdowns. Cote was named the team’s most valuable player. Personal: Cote was a Rockyview Football All-Star from 2001 to 2003 with the Cochrane (Alberta) High School Cobras in Cochrane under the tutelage of Head Coach Rob McNab. His accomplishments on both sides of the ball earned him the league MVP award in 2003.
