Rob Andrews (Robert Patrick Andrews) was born on December 11, 1952 in Santa Monica, California. He made his Major League debut on April 7, 1975 for the Houston Astros. In 1975, his rookie year, he hit .238 with 0 home runs and 19 RBI. Andrews played for the Houston Astros and San Francisco Giants over the course of his 5 year career.
