Rik Bonness (Richard K. Bonness) was born on March 20, 1954 in Borger, Texas. After going to high school at Bellevue (NE), Bonness attended the University of Nebraska. Bonness made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the Oakland Raiders. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders over the course of his 4 year career.
