Ridin Dirty on that Bandwagon

This rant is dedicated to all those sports fans who love riding the bandwagon & can’t get enough of it. Perhaps you guys hop on it just so you jackasses can ride in the HOV lane to and from work? Whatever the case is, us true/die-hard sports fans would love nothing more than to take you in a back, dark alley & do a Maurice Clarret on your sorry ass. If I seem a tad bit miffed, congratulations you have the ability to read between lines, but in all seriousness, I’m not…I, like so many other “true/die-hard” sports fans out there just hate to share a stadium or for that matter with you fruits. Fans like these are just purely scum!

I bring this topic to the forefront about phony fans in large part due to the fact that all mighty Notre Dame lost to Michigan last Saturday. Not only did the Irish lose, for lack of a better term, they got their asses handed to them. Gone are the National Championship & Heisman Trophy hopes…Okay, that’s fine. What I have a beef with is how many people are jumping ship. Yeah, Notre Dame was over-hyped…Clearly not one of the best team’s in the country, or certainly not number two. Our media darlings who hyped them up so much since spring practice are suddenly hopping off that bandwagon. This isn’t a Notre Dame rant though.

The same holds true for fickle fans all over the country. Why, the worst of bandwagon riders live right here in South Florida…I think perhaps Larry Coker or Nick Saban knows a little something about this. Isn’t that right, boys? Too bad all the criticism comes from people who don’t have a clue. It’s like that guy in the bar who will tell you everything you want to know about a given team, saying he has been a fan “forever”…Only to tell you the University of Florida is located in Orlando, and the Seminoles play in Gainesville, Florida. Sure enough though, people like these will cheer for a winning team…Wherever the hell they play?

Getting back to the Notre Dame theme here for a second after losing one game, although embarrassing, suddenly Charlie Weis is being compared with Ty Willingham. Funny, but before they lost to Michigan Charlie was God…Now he’s on the borderline of being the devil because he has the same record as Ty did at the same point of their coaching careers in South Bend. Would this be the case if the media did hype this team up, and go a little bit overboard…Most likely not. Again, big thanks goes to ESPN. So why is the media, not just ESPN doing their best imitation of these fans we hate so much? Although, at least you guys know where the University of Florida is, right? I guess all bandwagons get flat tires and need to pull off to the side of the road. Where’s that ‘Sports Fans for Dummies” book…I would like to wrap somebody over the head with it.

Again, for those of you who aren’t talented enough to read between the lines here I’m just dedicating all to all those fans who change teams more than they do their tighty whites….I can’t stand that shit & I’m sure I’m not alone either! Be on the lookout for FireCharlieWeis.com…We all know it’s coming from some moron on there!

"Seminoles play in Gainesville, Florida." not even the village idiot will say that. and if on the off-chance he does, you beat him in the head.
