Rico Brogna (Rico Joseph Brogna) was born on April 18, 1970 in Turners Falls, Massachusetts. He made his Major League debut on August 8, 1992 for the Detroit Tigers. In 1994, his rookie year, he hit .351 with 7 home runs and 20 RBI. Brogna played for the Detroit Tigers, New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies, Boston Red Sox and Atlanta Braves over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that Rico Brogna's best season was 1999, when he slugged 24 home runs, hit for a .278 average and knocked in 102 runs.
