Ricky Gutierrez (Ricardo Gutierrez) was born on May 23, 1970 in Miami, Florida. He made his Major League debut on April 13, 1993 for the San Diego Padres. In 1993, his rookie year, he hit .251 with 5 home runs and 26 RBI. Gutierrez played for the San Diego Padres, Houston Astros, Chicago Cubs, Cleveland Indians, New York Mets and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 12 year career.

Most people believe that Ricky Gutierrez's best season was 2001, when he hit for a .290 average and knocked in 66 runs.
