Rickey Young

Rickey Young (Rickey Darnell Young) was born on December 7, 1953 in Mobile, Alabama. After going to high school at C.F. Vigor (Prichard, AL), Young attended Jackson State University. Young made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the Minnesota Vikings and San Diego Chargers over the course of his 9 year career.
Most people believe that 1979 was Rickey Young's best year, as he ran for 708 yards, hauled in 72 receptions, had 519 receiving yards and caught 4 TD passes.
