Rickey Anderson (Rickey Recardo Anderson) was born on May 21, 1953 in Kingsland, Georgia. After going to high school at Kingsland, (GA), Anderson attended South Carolina State University. Anderson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1978 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Diego Chargers for his entire 1 year career.
