Rick Woods (Rick L. Woods) was born on November 16, 1959 in Boise, Idaho. After going to high school at Boise (ID), Woods attended Boise State University. Woods made his professional debut in the NFL in 1982 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1983 was Rick Woods's best year, as he picked off 5 passes and ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
