Rick Sortun (Henrik Martin Sortun) was born on September 26, 1942 in Tacoma, Washington. After going to high school at Kent-Meridian (Kent, WA), Sortun attended the University of Washington. Sortun made his professional debut in the NFL in 1964 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1966 was Rick Sortun's best year.
