Rick Ownbey

Born on October 20, 1957 in Corona, California, Rick Ownbey (Richard Wayne Ownbey) played for the New York Mets and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 4 year career. Ownbey broke into the bigs on August 17, 1982 with the New York Mets, and put up a 3.75 ERA in 50.1 innings pitched in 1982, his rookie year.
