Rick Nuzum (Frederick Merril Nuzum) was born on June 30, 1952 in Charleston, West Virginia. After going to high school at Marietta (OH), Nuzum attended the University of Kentucky. Nuzum made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Rams over the course of his 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1978 was Rick Nuzum's best year.
