Rick Lysander

Born on February 21, 1953 in Huntington Park, California, Rick Lysander (Richard Eugene Lysander) played for the Oakland Athletics and Minnesota Twins over the course of his 4 year career. Lysander broke into the bigs on April 12, 1980 with the Oakland Athletics, and put up a 3.38 ERA in 125 innings pitched in 1983, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Rick Lysander's best season was 1983, when he posted a 3.38 ERA and struck out 58 batters.
