Rick Joseph (Ricardo Emelindo (Harrigan) Joseph) was born on August 24, 1939 in San Pedro de Macoris, Macoris (Dominican Republic). He made his Major League debut on June 18, 1964 for the Kansas City Athletics. In 1968, his rookie year, he hit .219 with 3 home runs and 12 RBI. Joseph played for the Kansas City Athletics and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 5 year career.
