Rick Johnson (Richard Lee Johnson, Jr.) was born on December 12, 1963 in Greenville, Michigan. After going to high school at Ionia (MI), Johnson attended Grand Valley State University. Johnson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 1 year career.
