Born on June 10, 1953 in Trion, Georgia, Rick Camp (Rick Lamar Camp) played for the Atlanta Braves for his entire 9 year career. Camp broke into the bigs on September 15, 1976 with the Atlanta Braves, and put up a 4.00 ERA in 78.2 innings pitched in 1977, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Rick Camp's best season was 1981, when he posted a 1.78 ERA and notched 17 saves.
