Rick Bosetti (Richard Alan Bosetti) was born on August 5, 1953 in Redding, California. He made his Major League debut on September 9, 1976 for the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1978, his rookie year, he hit .259 with 5 home runs and 42 RBI. Bosetti played for the Philadelphia Phillies, St. Louis Cardinals, Toronto Blue Jays and Oakland Athletics over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that Rick Bosetti's best season was 1979, when he knocked in 65 runs.
