Rick Auerbach (Frederick Steven Auerbach) was born on February 15, 1950 in Woodland Hills, California. He made his Major League debut on April 13, 1971 for the Milwaukee Brewers. In 1971, his rookie year, he hit .203 with 1 home run and 9 RBI. Auerbach played for the Milwaukee Brewers, Los Angeles Dodgers, Cincinnati Reds and Seattle Mariners over the course of his 11 year career.
