Richie Anderson (Richard Darnoll Anderson) was born on September 13, 1971 in Sandy Spring, Maryland. After going to high school at Sherwood (Sandy Spring, MD), Anderson attended Pennsylvania State University. Anderson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1993 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys over the course of his 12 year career.

Most people believe that 2003 was Richie Anderson's best year, as he hauled in 69 receptions and caught 4 TD passes.
