Richard Wood

Richard Wood (Richard Marlon Wood) was born on May 31, 1953 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. After going to high school at Thomas Jefferson (Elizabeth, NJ), Wood attended the University of Southern California. Wood made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the New York Jets. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New York Jets over the course of his 10 year career.
Most people believe that 1977 was Richard Wood's best year, as he picked off 4 passes, ran back an interception for a touchdown and ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
