Born on October 14, 1944 in Albany, California, Rich Robertson (Richard Paul Robertson) played for the San Francisco Giants for his entire 6 year career. Robertson broke into the bigs on September 10, 1966 with the San Francisco Giants, and put up a 4.85 ERA in 183.2 innings pitched in 1970, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Rich Robertson's best season was 1970, when he posted a 4.85 ERA and struck out 121 batters.
