Richard Newsome (Richard Lawrence Newsome) was born on December 6, 1977 in Lima, Ohio. After going to high school at Fostoria (OH), Newsome attended Michigan State University. Newsome made his professional debut in the NFL in 2001 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New Orleans Saints for his entire 1 year career.
