Richard Neal (Richard Neal) was born on September 2, 1947 in Minden, Louisiana. After going to high school at Booker T. Washington (Shreveport, LA), Neal attended Southern University. Neal made his professional debut in the NFL in 1969 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that 1971 was Richard Neal's best year, as he recovered 4 opponents fumbles.
