Dick Anderson (Richard Joseph Anderson) was born on January 26, 1944 in Massillon, Ohio. After going to high school at Cloverleaf (Lodi, OH), Anderson attended Ohio State University. Anderson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1967 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New Orleans Saints for his entire 1 year career.
