Richard Carey (Richard Andre Carey) was born on May 6, 1968 in Seattle, Washington. After going to high school at James A. Garfield (Seattle, WA), Carey attended the University of Idaho. Carey made his professional debut in the NFL in 1989 with the Cincinnati Bengals. He played for the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals over the course of his 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1989 was Richard Carey's best year.
