Richard Blackmore (Richard Earl Blackmore) was born on August 14, 1956 in Vicksburg, Mississippi. After going to high school at Vicksburg (MS), Blackmore attended Mississippi State University. Blackmore made his professional debut in the NFL in 1979 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1981 was Richard Blackmore's best year.
