Richard Bishop (Richard Allen Bishop) was born on March 23, 1950 in Cleveland, Ohio. After going to high school at Glenville (Cleveland, OH), Bishop attended Marshalltown Community College and the University of Louisville. Bishop made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the New England Patriots. He played for the New England Patriots, Los Angeles Rams and Miami Dolphins over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that 1976 was Richard Bishop's best year.
