Rich Zecher (Richard Frederick Zecher) was born on October 14, 1943 in Alameda, California. After going to high school at Alameda (CA), Zecher attended Contra Costa JC and Utah State University. Zecher made his professional debut in the AFL in 1965 with the Oakland Raiders. He played for the Miami Dolphins and Oakland Raiders over the course of his 3 year career.
