Rich Wingo (Richard Allen Wingo) was born on July 16, 1956 in Elkhart, Indiana. After going to high school at Central (Elkhart, IN), Wingo attended the University of Alabama. Wingo made his professional debut in the NFL in 1979 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1979 was Rich Wingo's best year.
