Born on October 3, 1962 in Bronx, New York, Rich Surhoff (Richard Clifford Surhoff) played for the Texas Rangers and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 1 year career. Surhoff broke into the bigs on September 8, 1985 with the Texas Rangers.
