Rich Miano (Richard James Miano) was born on September 3, 1962 in Newton, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Kaiser (Honolulu, HI), Miano attended the University of Hawaii. Miano made his professional debut in the NFL in 1985 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles and Atlanta Falcons over the course of his 10 year career. Currently is the secondary and associate head coach of the University of Hawaii.

Most people believe that 1993 was Rich Miano's best year, as he picked off 4 passes.
