Rich Jackson (Richard Samuel Jackson) was born on July 22, 1941 in New Orleans, Louisiana. After going to high school at L.B. Landry (New Orleans, LA), Jackson attended Southern University. Jackson made his professional debut in the AFL in 1966 with the Oakland Raiders. He played in the AFL for 4 years, playing for the Denver Broncos and Oakland Raiders over the course of his 4 year AFL career.Jackson also played in the NFL for 3 years, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time.

Most people believe that 1969 was Rich Jackson's best year.
