Rich Hill scorching hot

Cubs pitcher Rich Hill is off to a fast start keeping his e.r.a under 1.00 after three outings to date. The pitcher shut out the Braves yesterday for his 3rd win on the season. The breakout is here to stay and Hill, along with his Zito-like curveball, will be among the N.L's elite for 2007 and beyond. Hill has displayed that he has the skills to be mentioned among the games top young arms and Manager Lou Pinella feels taht he can possibly surpass Carlos Zambrano as the ace of the staff. By the way Mr Zambrano has started the season Pinell may be right on!

Hill has been great, but don't forget he is 27-years-old (old for a youngster) and doesn't throw the ball as fast as most strikeout pitchers. He is definitely a strong #3 or #2 pitcher, but Hill probably isn't an ace. He will hit his rough patches this season and end up with an ERA in the high-3.00s.
