Born on November 30, 1981 in Victoria, British Columbia (Canada), Rich Harden (James Richard Harden) played for the Oakland Athletics for his entire 4 year career. Harden broke into the bigs on July 21, 2003 with the Oakland Athletics, and put up a 4.46 ERA in 74.2 innings pitched in 2003, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Rich Harden's best season was 2004, when he posted a 3.99 ERA, won 11 games and struck out 167 batters.
