Rich Buzin (Richard Lawrence Buzin) was born on January 25, 1946 in Youngstown, Ohio. After going to high school at Woodrow Wilson (Youngstown, OH), Buzin attended Pennsylvania State University. Buzin made his professional debut in the NFL in 1968 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants, Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Rams over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1968 was Rich Buzin's best year.
