Born on April 8, 1967 in Florence, South Carolina, Rich Batchelor (Richard Anthony Batchelor) played for the St. Louis Cardinals and San Diego Padres over the course of his 3 year career. Batchelor broke into the bigs on September 3, 1993 with the St. Louis Cardinals.
