Born on July 21, 1959 in Palm Beach, Florida, Rich Barnes (Richard Monroe Barnes) played for the Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 2 year career. Barnes broke into the bigs on July 18, 1982 with the Chicago White Sox.
