Born on April 13, 1970 in Cuitlahuac, Veracruz (Mexico), Ricardo Rincon (Ricardo (Espinoza) Rincon) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Cleveland Indians, Oakland Athletics and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 10 year career. Rincon broke into the bigs on April 3, 1997 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and put up a 3.45 ERA in 60 innings pitched in 1997, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Ricardo Rincon's best season was 1998, when he posted a 2.91 ERA, notched 14 saves and struck out 64 batters.
