Born on April 23, 1967 in Moncton, New Brunswick (Canada), Rheal Cormier (Rheal Paul Cormier) played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Boston Red Sox, Montreal Expos, Philadelphia Phillies and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 15 year career. Cormier broke into the bigs on August 15, 1991 with the St. Louis Cardinals, and put up a 4.12 ERA in 67.2 innings pitched in 1991, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Rheal Cormier's best season was 2003, when he posted a 1.70 ERA and struck out 67 batters.
