Rey Quinones (Rey Francisco (Santiago) Quinones) was born on November 11, 1963 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. He made his Major League debut on May 17, 1986 for the Seattle Mariners. In 1986, his rookie year, he hit .218 with 2 home runs and 22 RBI. Quinones played for the Seattle Mariners, Boston Red Sox and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that Rey Quinones's best season was 1988, when he knocked in 52 runs.
