Alex, I apologize if I spelled your name wrong. Shouldn't your last name be something English, like Grant or Windsor?
Anyway, Bill Simmons from sportsguy.net brought up an interesting thing on his website. After watching this World Cup, he's decided to become a fan of the English Premiership. He has no clue who to root for or why, but asked his readers to give input. He didn't share his thoughts, but I was hoping you or any of your English brethren could put together some information about the Premiership teams. Perhaps their histories, if they are front runners every year (like Manchester United), or teams that are perennial losers or teams full of jerks.
I too would like to start watching. I think I'll root for Newcastle United as I went to University of Newcastle for a year when studying abroad in college. Any insights as to what they are all about now? Any Premiership websites that would be a good read? I would like to get hooked.
