Reggie Jackson (Reginald Martinez Jackson) was born on May 18, 1946 in Wyncote, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on June 9, 1967 for the Kansas City Athletics. In 1968, his rookie year, he hit .250 with 29 home runs and 74 RBI. Jackson played for the Kansas City Athletics, Oakland Athletics, Baltimore Orioles, New York Yankees and California Angels over the course of his 21 year career.

Most people believe that Reggie Jackson's best season was 1969, when he slugged 47 home runs, hit for a .275 average and knocked in 118 runs.

In Game 6 of the 1977 World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers, Reggie hit 3 home runs at Yankee Stadium to clinch the Title as 1977 World Series Champions.
